Go, the most complex board game, has existed for thousands and thousands of years. People play them not only to understand what Go is, but also to understand what "understanding" is.

It is believed that Go highly required human's intuition. Sometimes a professional players can play amazing steps without actually realize the reason why they did that——they just feel right. While a question comes out: can artificial intelligence develop the same intuition as humans'?

A group named Deepmind developed an AI program called Alphago, simulating the human's nervous system to imitate human's intuition. And it surprisingly bet the beat the world best Go players.

The documentary below showed the development of this fantastic program.

This is a great documentary. Share this with Mr K and Ms Thorson who love games. I couldn't stop watching. It is fascinating....man against the machine.
